Paralympian Visit

We were delighted  to welcome Kylie Grimes, a Paralympian rugby player, to the school today. Kylie took up wheelchair rugby following a diving accident in 2009 and has won gold and silver medals at -European Championship level, as well as a gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.  She worked with every class, putting them through their paces with a series of warm-ups and then addressed the whole school, inspiring them with her sporting tales and demonstrating that a disability is no bar to a professional athletic career. Thank you, Kylie, for giving us time in your busy training schedule.
