JustDifferent workshops

We were delighted to welcome Helen from JustDifferent to run workshops with children throughout the school. JustDifferent provides innovative, interactive educational workshops to children and young people about disability and difference. The workshops are delivered by disabled adults.

After a presentation by Helen, the children had a chance to see how it might feel to be visually or physically impaired by trying to write with their feet or with their eyes closed. These activities helped the children to empathise with people with disabilities. Thank you to JustDifferent for making us more aware of disabilities and how they can be overcome.
